World's Paramount Roger Federer Is No Match for Active Rafael Nadal
Already known to many, men's tennis paramount player and champion of the recently-concluded Wimbledon tournament Roger Federer have roots in Switzerland. He has sustained this indescribable position in men's professional tennis since February 2004, and he holds the third-longest consecutive stay in the world ranking. Yet, if you think Federer is the most talented player in every tournament, you are undeniably wrong because Federer is not a complete player considering his ranking. He may be great and terrific in grass and hard court, but he's a nobody in clay.
Last French Open, Federer straightforwardly advanced to the finals setting a championship match-up against the active Spaniard Rafael Nadal who is currently ranked second in the ATP ranking. Just when everybody thought that Nadal's triumph against him last year was just a big joke, Nadal still came out champion and stole the limelight against Federer. While the eighteen-year old Spaniard was delighted, Fereder was deliberating how he would be able to stop Nadal in clay. Well, the good thing for Federer is he still has a year to figure out about it because when the the next French Open comes, I'm sure Nadal would be back again as his greatest foe.
