Having A Fresh And Enjoyable Swiss Breakfast

When I contemplate of Switzerland, I think of the wonderful Swiss alps covered with snow. At the same time, the stunning Swiss cottages around the peaceful lakes with crystal-clear water. Of course, Switzerland is on top of my European trek plans this year. To add to my excitement, my friend who returned from her Swiss holiday voyage endlessly talked about her stunning Swiss food escapades. I was fond of with her stories about the Swiss life that I could not wait to ride off. Thus, I promised myself to also try the different pleasing and tasteful dishes available when I get to Switzerland.

So, for my first breakfast, I was presented by my Swiss colleagueto muesli. I tell you, there is nothing as satisfying as muesli for a nourishing breakfast. There are the dry and fresh muesli samples to choose from -- the dry muesli recipe is made from rolled oats, dried fruits, seeds, and nuts mixed with milk, fruit cooler, or yogurt, while the traditional kind of muesli which is fresh is made from soaked rolled oats in either water or juice then mixed with grated fruits. Both sorts of muesli breakfast are incredibly nourishing and colorful. Not bad for a breakfast sample that was produced by a Swiss doctor for his patients.
