Swiss Character For The Table

A friend of mine was favored enough to finally get his much-needed retreat to Switzerland over the holidays. The first thing that my friend did was to log on the Internet and inquire about the kind of food that the Swiss feast on. The cuisine is Switzerland is chiefly combined with chocolate and cheese dishes. Both are in demand commodities exported by Switzerland, and they are often costly and difficult to get because they have a high demand.

When in a different country, it is always a capital idea to check out at least a few courses that is native in the area. Thus, when in Switzerland, try two in demand cheese-based dishes that is a enormous part of Swiss lifestyle -- the Raclette and the Fondue. Both regional dishes are described by the use of cooked cheese; Raclette cheese are scrapped onto a plate, and is mixed with potato or meat while Fondue cheese is melted in a common pot where bits of bread or meat is dipped into. Both dishes go well with wine, and their reputation ensured a constant boost of cheese sale in Switzerland. My friend, a self-proclaimed cheese lover and wine artiste was priming himself for a enjoyable vacation amidst the snow-covered mountains of the Alps.

Without a doubt, my chum will be enjoying his sabbatical too much. I foresee a big duffel of Swiss chocolates from him when he gets home.
