Majestic Celebration of The Gourmet Shindig

People who can't seem to get enough of tasty food, like me, would always want to be in parties and celebrations where there is endless and free supply of delicious food and drinks. Such food festivities are our legal excuse to pig out since the theme of the celebration is nothing but food. So if you just can't wait to eat, drink, and be ecstatic like tomorrow is your last, I suggest you grab your plate and travel to St. Mortiz in Switzerland.

The abounding Gourmet Festival will be held in the enchanting Swiss place of St. Mortiz from the 29th of January up to the 3rd of February. In this festivity, various recognized chefs plus cooking masters from neighboring hotels will all gather and share their ideas about food. The host hotel will be serving only the tasty cuisines in town all throughout the course of the event, with a series of champagne and wine tasting events plus a chocolate cult festivity.

Aside from the delicious food, there will be lively activities that every guest and participant will surely enjoy. One of the majestic activities is the skiing on the Engadine alpine panorama which will serve as the venue's aura. If you decide to visit Switzerland for this elegant Gourmet Festival, you can take advantage of this skiing activity-- maybe a couple of hours after pigging out all those tasty foods.

The Countenance Of The Renowned Castle Chillon

Switzerland, like so many European nations, is a place littered with so much history and so many places of historical significance that one can't help but become overwhelmed by the power of the past. Among my favorite places in Switzerland, both for the historical role and the breathtaking view from the parapets, would have to be Chateau de Chillon.

The site where the castle stands is recognized as having been colonized by people as early as the time of the Roman Empire, though the castle itself has only been mentioned in historical records sometime in 1160. Being a medieval castle, Chillon has seen a fair share of scheming, transformation, and, likely, warfare. The first legal owners were the heirs of the Savoy lineage.

The castle had the favor of the Savoy counts, mainly because the location was placed in a vital area between the territories of opposing peoples deeper into what is now Swiss territory and the home of the counts, Italy. Of course, there's also the spectacular view that the uplifted ramparts give you of the splendid Lake of Geneva, which is nothing short of breathtaking.

Restorations of several areas of the ancient citadel, most notably sections built before the House of Savoy made expansions to the original castle, are undergoing. The Swiss know what a historical treasure they have in Chillon and aren't about to let such magnificence and history be weathered so badly by decay.

Great Treats in An Amazing Swiss Travel

Too many things could be said to describe the Swiss visit, but never is the word "dull' will ever be appropriate for such an incredible experience. I could still imagine the first time I've been to Switzerland, when I was immediately held captive for the royal splendor that unfolds before my eyes. The Swiss Alps is one outstanding landscape, though one may as well enjoy the wonderful views of nearby lakes. It seems to me then that it were all part of magnificent European treasures that I could only dare unravel through this Swiss visit. Forgive me if I seem to exaggerate a bit, but I had with me the bedazzlement similar to a wide-eyed child's who'll be seeing the world for the first time. Actually, it was my first European vacation and I didn't have any regret, when there could never be such a thing as a bad cuisine in Switzerland. Even with a scrimping budget, voyagers can only enjoy the best out of each place.

For voyager who just don't know what to expect from their Swiss trips, at least let me give you a hint. As it is, there are too many specialties on the Swiss menu, but where to get those memorable courses could only be a more critical part of the journey. You may enjoy dining in elegance from a castle or even socialize with the locals in a tavern regularly berthed at the end of the streets. Wherever you go, nice courses are always served, may it be in a country inn, a railway station, on the boat or even a train. Just remember to ask for the special treat for the day, and trademark courses will all be yours for a gratifying delight.

The Celebrated Demonstration Entitled Blooming Desert

Last year, I went to this demonstration which featured many new thoughts on women's apparel, bags, and jewelry. The said demonstration was held in Switzerland, at the Kultur.Cafe found in Arbon, where there was a demonstration of thoughts and products, highlighted by serving what the Swiss call Holunder-Proseco. Modernized for the new millennium, the innovations and featured pieces in the exhibit were from Australia and Switzerland, as also seen in their uniqueness and one-of-a-kind form.

What more can I say about the original and awe-inspiring products? I've seen several leather, silk, sequined products there, mainly ancient bag designs from the 19th century; any fashion-conscious person would truly be ecstatic to get something among those bags for their keeping and usage, one that would make them seem exceptional from the others. The clothes were also special since the exhibit had many latest designs for the current season. Of course, jewelry would never be absent since the demonstration was mainly for the adolescent and sexy women of today.

As for the exhibit proper, well, it was somewhat exhilarating and memorable, though it was held last year, around summer. Though the featured products and concepts were inspired from the old days, the presentation was impressive, as evident from the use of digital sounds and technology.

Keeping you Warm and Pleased in Arctic Switzerland

With the winter era in Switzerland known to be freezing cold, traveling to that European territory during this particular time may not be advisable, especially if you are prone to catching a cold. However, for those who simply revere winter, Switzerland is definitely the place to be, with its numerous snow-capped mountains and fantastic scenery.

Still, a little warmth and sunshine is endorsed, even in icy Switzerland, and for this, a good place to stay in is Hotel Alpin Spa Tuxerhof, which offers an intimate ambiance, highlighted by fine wines that will surely provide the needed warmth amidst the freezing scenery.

The hotel boasts of different facilities basically designed to keep you warm and healthy in Switzerland, including four pools that come in various versions, the most notable of which is a hot whirlpool. There are also six saunas, each one possessing a different idea, apart from the shower rooms that likewise come in various formats.

For smokers, a good mode to keep warm is to enjoy a stick or two at the fireside section of the hotel, while for non-smokers, a separate area is reserved for them where they can get to enjoy some of the sports activities that are made available to them.

Therapy and treatments of various formats are also being offered at the Hotel Alpin Spa Tuxerhof, including regular massage programs. Definitely, if there is one place in Switzerland that offers warmth and gentleness to help ignore the freezing atmosphere outside, this hotel has got to be it.
